What is considered 'Maintenance'

  • Content update
  • Addition/deletion of links
  • Adding/removing of graphics (not belonging to interface)
Debugging of server side code, PHP or ASP, is not considered maintenance.

What You Need to Provide

  • Webready content for your webpages.
    Acceptable formats: Word, WordPerfect, OpenOffice.org, ASCII Text, or Email.
  • Detailed description what needs to be changed.
    In order to serve you best SjMK Design needs to know your requirements. Please, provide detailed descriptions of the changes that should be applied to your existing website.
  • Any graphics or photos you want to display/change.
    By sending the files to SjMK Design you automatically state that you own the rights for these files.

Price

Price: $ 35.00 (USD)/hour
Minimum fee: 1 hour. After that rate is calculated in 15 minute increments.

Payment Options

You can either pay online through PayPal, or via sending a personal check.
For either option the minimum fee ($35.00) has to be paid upfront. The rest is due upon finishing the project. Work will be started once the first payment is received.

Maintenance Contracts

SjMK Design offers the option to sign up for a maintenance contract. The minimum length of the contract is six month, maximum is 12 month. The advantage is reduced cost.

How it works: If a contract is signed the minimum payment of $35.00 is due at the beginning of the month (floating starting dates). This will cover up to one hour of maintenance work, no matter how often updates are needed during the monthly time period. Every work beyond one hour will be calculated in 15 minute increments. Without a maintenance contract you will be billed the minimal fee everytime you request a change. Billing examples for contracts:

45 Minutes work = $35.00
105 Minutes work = $61.25
120 Minutes work = $70.00

If you need maintenance work only sporadically you probably won't sign up for a contract, however if you think you will need frequent maintenance work, a contract will save you money. When you sign up for a contract you will have to pay the $35.00 at the beginning of every monthly period no matter if you actually have modifications done to your site or not. The price will be stable for the timeframe you chose to be covered by a contract.
